BOLOH Helpline offers advice, signposting, emotional support and 8 free sessions of therapy by qualified Barnardo’s therapists. These sessions can take place remotely via telephone or online. Sessions can take place in your own language at a time that works for you.
Helpline Advisors can also offer practical support such as food vouchers and access to digital devices.
Calls are confidential and they do not share personal information with the Home Office.

A mental health and wellbeing charity that serves the community through counselling, befriending, and advocacy. Counselling available in Spanish, French, Russian, Urdu, Punjabi, Arabic, Polish and Sinhala. They also provide community courses under the name of Managing our Minds. Provided workshops for Anger Management, Overcoming Anxiety, Developing Your Confidence, and Stress Management.

Mind-Spring is a psychoeducational group programme by and for asylum seekers and refugees that is presented in the participants’ native language. It is always run by a trainer who has a refugee or immigrant background.
The main goal of the Mind-Spring programme is to improve the mental health of asylum seekers and refugees, help them integrate socially and culturally, empower them to build a future in their new community, and increase their sense of control. The programme consists of 7 weekly sessions of 2 hours, which end with 15 minutes of relaxation exercises.

The Dreamers - Oasis

The Dreamers is a young person’s mental health project co-produced with agencies and young people to create resources and activities to fill gaps in mental health provision. They also advocate for change. They run a variety of activities such as a weekly walking group, cooking, comms and media group, football, women only activities, day trips etc. For 16-25 year old asylum seekers and refugees.
VOADES UK (Voces Amigas de Esperanza)

VOADES UK aim to assist the Spanish and Portuguese speaking immigrants (incl RAS) in the UK by creating a welcoming environment to meet others and talk.
They have trained volunteers providing specialist help and support by organising events, workshops, and activities for increased community interaction. Crisis intervention helplines work around the clock for when immediate help is needed. Their platform will benefit anyone who’s recently moved to the UK and is overwhelmed or isolated and wants to build a network of like-minded people.
